I recently shot and edited this dramatic short film where I experimented in color, editing, sound effects and music. My goal was to combine these elements to create an emotional effect with visuals and audio and not to rely on dialogue.
Cast:
Mary Jane Lawless – Kendra,
Melby Mathew – David,
Crew:
Producer – Carlos Grana,
Richard Jett – Cinematographer/Editor,
Matt Scott – Grip,
Maria Costa – Makeup,
Author: Richard Jett
One of my strengths is helping someone (an individual, an organization or a company) to “find their story” and then creating a vivid and compelling video efficiently and succinctly but one with heart and passion keeping fully aware of the practical and logistical needs of a business and its clients.I am comfortable handling all aspects of production (producing, directing, shooting, and editing) either on my own or as part of a team.I also have a complete shooting package available, and the experience to go with it.
There is so much I like about this short. Really conveys the depth and power in our everyday experiences.
Shiver me timbers, them’s some great informatoin.
I really respect what you’re writing here. Keep posting that way. Take care!
I am bookmarking this asap! Thank you very much 😉
Hi, Richard! Wow! I loved the work I saw! You are amazingly gifted! Although I plan to see them all, so far I have viewed Marco Martinez “Artist of Nature” & “Exit” & Resonance Jazz Ensemble…Honestly – I loved each piece, and was moved by all three. Marco Martinez was fascinating and beautiful to me. “Exit” was quite interesting and artistic while the Jazz Ensemble piece truly moved me. I love Jazz & my ex-husband of 25 years is a brilliant Jazz Musician. One of the Documentariy Series I’ve written up which includes a feature with each series is called, “West Coast Ghosts.” My first musician featured is a late Trumpet player to whom Mailes Davis attributes his muse. Anyhow – thanks for the treat of allowing me to see your films. I love them, as I said. ‘Talk to you soon… Cheers! Ellen
